The Legend of Big Joe

Big Joe stood at a height of six foot four inches with a mass of two hundred and eighty pounds of pure muscle. By contrast, his neighbor, Charlie, was a thin man of fifty with average height and slightly graying hair. He and Big Joe’s father grew up as next door neighbors and childhood best friends. At a very young age, Big Joe started to realize his strength and decided to use it to earn a living. 

Refusing to attend school, he spent hours doing body-building exercises instead, allowing him to pick up odd jobs as a laborer for the commercial enterprises of the village.
