Five-year-old Jason gazed at the group standing before the altar. The bride’s dad stood on her right. The groom had his mom and dad at his sides. The priest’s droning voice made Jason lose interest. Propped on his knees in the space between his parents, he drove his toy car on the backrest of the last pew occupied by the small group of wedding guests.
